Stephen was born on November 26, 1955 and passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Stephen was a resident of San Diego, California at the time of passing. Dr. Finger continued his studies at UCLA where he received his Pediatric Dental Certificate and a Master's Degree in Public Health. A memorial service will be held at a future time at The Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe. Dr. Finger was my kids dentist since they were very young up through high school and college. We really enjoyed his very personal and happy personality. We will greatly miss him.

I have worked in the dental field for over 20 years, and this man impacted my life more than any other doctor I have worked with. He was humble, kind, inquisitive, intelligent, caring...I can't say enough good things about him. Though it has been weeks, I still cannot accept that this world is now short an angel like him. I only wish I had spent more time in his presence. Dr. Finger....you will be forever in my heart.

Dr. Finger was an amazing and caring dentist. My autistic son was his patient for the 20 years. Dr. Finger displayed so much patience with my son so that over the years Matthew became accustomed and comfortable during his check ups. I will always be grateful to Dr. Finger. I am sure he is now enjoying his heavenly rewards.

Dr. Finger was an amazing dentist and such a warm and caring person. My grown Autistic son had been his patient for the last 21 years. He is the only dentist he knew. He was the nicest person. We send our deepest condolences to his family and the office of Dixon Pediatric dental group where he practiced for the last 22 years. He will be greatly missed. Peace be with you.
