Most. Rev. Stephen M. Greinke, MBPH, was born on August 4, 1954, to parents LeRoy Gene and JoAnn Pearl (O'Connell) Greinke, Elmhurst, Illinois. He attended Holy Redeemer College, Waterford, WI; Holy Names College, Oakland, CA; Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, CA; and School of Applied Theology, Oakland, CA.
He professed Redemptorist St Louis Province 1976 – 1979, and Oakland – Denver Province from 1985 – 2000.
Most Rev. Stephen Greinke, MBPH, was the Founder and Superior of the Society of the Missionary Brothers of Perpetual Help from September 8, 1990, to present. He was ordained to Order of Deacon on October 29, 2016, and ordained to the Order of Presbyter on October 28, 2017, and was nominated as Bishop in November 2020 and Consecrated Bishop of the Holy Catholic Church on May 22, 2021
He is survived by his brothers, Lawrence "Larry" (Myong Suk) Greinke, Olathe, KS, Kevin (Barbara) Greinke, Alexandria, Virginia; Nephew, Christopher (Jessica) Greinke; a niece, Sandra (Steven) Papagikos and family.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 27, 2025, at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home with interment following at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Ogden, Kansas.
