Stephen “Steve” G. Harris age 75, of Fairview, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Erie on June 20, 1950, son of the late Charles J. and Mary C. Harris.
After graduating from DeVeux High School in NY, Steve attended Erie Institute of Technology and also spent time studying in India.
Steve was a very spiritual man who always looked for the bright side of life. He loved a great meal with friends and a good joke. He was always willing to help a person in need, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles D. Harris.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Janet Callahan; two nephews, Sean and Patrick Callahan; a sister-in-law, Barbara Harris and nephew, Drew (Valerie) Harris and their children, Lainey and Jack.
Services were held at the convenience of the family, Arrangements are under the care of the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie PA 16506.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
