Stephen Hartmann of Hauppauge, NY, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2024. Born in Brooklyn on August 16, 1958. Stephen was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Dorothy Hartmann. Beloved husband of 41 years to his wife Susan, caring father to Vincent and Danielle Hartmann, proud father-in-law to Nicole Hartmann, and grandfather to Matteo Hartmann. Stephen found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially with Matteo. His hard work and dedication were evident throughout his life and in his career driving coach buses and working for the Town of Smithtown. Stephen always had a love of cars especially for old corvettes, the band KISS, fishing, and taking vacations to Turks & Caicos with his family. Stephen's memory will be held dear by his loved ones, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched. He will be remembered for his kind nature, his dedication to his family, and the countless moments of happiness he brought into their lives.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
