He was born on July 10, 1946, to Ray and Roberta (Mac Lean) Heiden. They preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were his daughter, Larissa Heiden, and sister, Joan Johnson Howard.
Surviving are his brother, Tim (Melissa) Heiden, and good friend, Stephanie Beavers.
Stephen, or Kirk as his family called him, graduated from Peoria High School. Kirk moved to California and for many years worked as an apparel model in Los Angeles and New York City.
Kirk had a witty sense of humor and would bring a smile to anyone he met.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Wilton Mortuary. A celebration of Stephen's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Peoria Humane Society.
