Stephen Huckleberry Obituary
Steve was born in Evansville on April 13, 1953, to the late Ralph A. and Yvonne "Bonnie" (Estes) Huckleberry. Steve was a very kind and caring person. He loved taking care of his family and his cats. He was a talented artist in his younger years and also enjoyed landscaping.
Surviving Steve are two sisters, Wendy Bengert and Boo (Daniel) Krieger; eight nieces and nephews, Jacob Bengert, Jennifer Powell, Ashley Buhmeier, Andrew Huckleberry, Bonnie Heider, Bridget Krieger, Erron Huckleberry and Emily Hinsey, as well as many grand nieces and grand nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by brothers, Stan and Scott Huckleberry.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.

Steve was part of the fabric of Haynie's Corner and its culture back when nobody would support it (the city, etc.). His talent for art, especially silkscreen, was well known and he help a lot of organizations and bands produce merchandise before it was all that. Life takes folks on divergent paths as time flows, and I haven't seen him for years. However, I will always remember him and his contributions to what was going on. My condolences to the family and loved ones he left behind.
