Detroit, MI: Mr. Stephen Brent Hudson, age 49, of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M.-Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Fields.
Mr. Hudson was born on February 3, 1972 to Homer and Anita Allen Hudson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a truck driver.
Brent was an avid fisherman, lover of Nascar, and his family. Brent loved to live life to the extreme; he craved adventure. Riding snow machines in the mountains of Alaska, fishing for the biggest bass on the lake with his dad, or tackling his most remarkable adventure of becoming a father. Brent was a Papa to two beautiful little girls McKinlee and RayLynne Mock. He leaves behind his only child Amber Hudson/Mock, and a son-in-law Austin Mock. To quote one of his final posts to social media, “One thing I did do right in life was spending time with my daughter and teaching her how to fish. We had so many good times, and they are my favorite memories. I love you, Amber.” Brent will be deeply missed by anyone who really knew him. If he were here, he would tell us to keep our faith and trust in God.
Surviving include his parents; daughter, Amber Mock and son-in-law, Austin; granddaughters, McKinlee and Raylynne Mock; sister, Kristy Black and brother-in-law, Marlon; nieces, Marley and Alexis Black; and nephew, Collin Black.
Family will receive friends immediately following the committal.
