WILLIAMSPORT - Stephen W. "Steve" Kelley, 62, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at The Gatehouse.
He was married on May 15, 1982 to the former Sonya J. (Valceda), who survives, and they have shared almost 42 years as husband and wife.
Steve was born on July 7, 1961 in Williamsport and was the son of the late Francis P. and Blanche M. (Elkins) Kelley. He had graduated from Williamsport High School in 1979 and later obtained an Associate Degree in Business. He joined the US Army and then the Army National Guard for 15 years and then retired. He had also recently retired from Kellogg's after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, music and sports.
In addition to his wife Sonya, he is survived by two sons; Stephen W. Kelley, Jr. (Jackie) of Sunbury and Christopher R. Kelley (Victoria Cathcart) of S. Williamsport, two daughters; Jeannette Miller (Butch) of S. Williamsport and Amanda L. Drungell (Alan) of Macungie, ten grandchildren, one great-grandson, three brothers; Francis Kelley, Jr. (Linda) of Williamsport and Michael Kelley (Shelia) and Robert Kelley (Tina), all of Florida, two sisters; Diana Gillespie and Theresa Cohen (Sam), all of Colorado and one sister-in-law; Lisa Kelley of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; James Kelley and one sister; Lisa Kelley.
There will be a gathering of family and friends 2 - 3 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
