Stephen J. Kostecki

Stephen J Kostecki, born December 2, 1946, Boston, MA was sent to his eternal home of rest October 24, 2025, Taunton, MA. He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Kostecki and is survived by his sister Donna (Kostecki) Ferguson, her husband Robert, his brother William Kostecki and his wife Dodie and his close friend of many years Mary Wasylyk. Stephen was also Uncle to Eric, Ryan and Adam Kostecki, Lauren (Ferguson) Castonguay, William and Christopher Ferguson and six great nieces and nephews.
After graduation from high school Stephen enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1965 and retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1985. He worked in the security field until his retirement and enjoyed working for the city of Taunton as a school crossing guard.
Stephen was the Commander of the Ukrainian American Veterans (UAV) Post 31 Boston and also the National Quartermaster. He was
involved with many greater Boston Ukrainian Organizations. In lieu of flowers donations can be made on the uavets.org website.
Family and friends are kindly invited to the Funeral Liturgy at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church, 146 Forest Hills St., Jamaica Plain, November 7, 2025 at 11AM. Interment for family and friends will be at a later date.
