Stephen "Steve" Larrow

The family of Stephen "Steve" Larrow of Holyoke is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 70. Steve passed peacefully with family members by his side. Steve, one of twelve children, was born in Holyoke Massachusetts on July 14, 1954, son of the late Raymond A. and Alice (Delery) Larrow. He graduated from Boston College and worked in the insurance industry in the early days of his career. Steve was the beloved brother to eleven siblings: Rita Larrow and her wife Linda Seese; Marie (Larrow) Greene and her husband Chris; Raymond Larrow and his wife Mary; Patricia (Larrow) Peters and her husband Mark; Joseph Larrow and his wife Kathrin Luderer; Theresa (Larrow) Savignano and her husband Mike; Jane Larrow and her husband Harold Dittmer; Andrew Larrow and his wife Katie; Daniel Larrow and his fiancée Kathy Lynch; David Larrow; and Katie (Larrow) Schellenger and her husband Del. He was an uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. While Steve lived his life in the Western MA and CT area, he enjoyed vacationing in Florida and spending time at the beach in RI. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed swimming year-round. Steve was a communicant of Sacred Heart church in Springfield. Steve will be greatly missed by his family, as well as the many friends he made over the years. A private graveside service will be held the morning of June 26, 2025, with a reception following for family and friends at Pic's Restaurant - 910 Hampden Street, Holyoke at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation. The O'Brien Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
