Stephen P. LeBlanc, 69, recently of Crawfordville, was born February 27, 1954, in Holyoke, MA. After a prolonged illness, he passed peacefully on February 11, 2024.
Steve was the eldest son of Armand and Raphael "Burns" LeBlanc.
He leaves his wife, Amy, his son, Brandon and two grandsons Collin and Patrick.
In addition, with life's twists and turns, he raised two stepsons, Eric and Christopher Eberlein and one stepdaughter, Tiffany Cyran.
First and foremost, Steve was an athlete. In high school, he was a state finalist in gymnastics, after school he studied Isshinryu karate, earning a 2nd degree black belt and in his 30's, took up becoming a sponsored international competitor. Hunting was where he was in his element.
He loved being in nature and spent as much time as he could in the great outdoors. Steve spent most of his life close to home in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts, but he loved to travel.
He talked often of his motorcycle run down to Mexico with a couple of good friends in 1984. In later years, he took a Caribbean cruise, traveled to Arizona, Puerto Rico, Egypt and the Cook Islands.
He enjoyed meeting people from all over and made traveling fun. He loved music and whenever you hear Lennard Skynyrd "Simple Man" or Ted Nugent "Fred Bear", that was the essence of Steve.
Steve made the most of his life. He rarely apologized for his decisions and never hurt anyone intentionally. His wish, was to be cremated and have his ashes left at a good hunting ground.
Skip & Trey Young along with Paula and Kimberly are assisting the family with their arrangements. 850-926-5919 Familyfhc.com
