Stephen Lombardozzi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home on Mar. 20, 2026.
Mr. Stephen A. Lombardozzi, formerly of Boston and Malden, age 87, died on March 2, 2026, at his home in Ashburn, VA. He was the husband of the late Nancy Anne (Smith) Lombardozzi with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Boston and raised in Boston and Malden, he was the son of the late Stephen A. and Edith (Cuddi) Lombardozzi. A graduate of Malden High School, he received a degree in Industrial Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Boston College, while working at General Electric in Lynn in the GE Apprentice program. During his working career, he worked 20 years for General Electric Company and ALCO Power as CEO. He left the corporate world in 1982 to fulfill a lifelong ambition to own his own business, Steve, with the help of his friends in Auburn NY, acquired Oneida Molded Plastics, of Oneida NY.

His profession took he and his family from the early days in Malden MA, to Rochester NY, Danvers MA, Gainesville, FL, Schenectady, NY, Auburn, NY, Manlius, NY In his retirement years he and Nancy lived in Naples, FL and Auburn NY. In their final years they moved to Ashburn, VA to be close to the many family members in that area. Steve enjoyed coaching his 3 boys in little league baseball who all attended college on baseball scholarships and then following Chris & Steve in their professional baseball careers. In retirement, Steve enjoyed boating, golfing and reading. His true passion was encouraging and helping his 3 sons and grandchildren in any business or entrepreneurial endeavor. He even briefly came out of retirement to help his son John & Chris after they acquired a manufacturing business in Chambersburg PA.

He delighted in spending time with the many lifelong friends that he and Nancy developed over the many places they lived and worked. He had the opportunity to see his son Steve and grandson Stevie, Jr play in the Major leagues - an accomplishment that only a few hundred fathers and sons have accomplished.

Mr. Lombardozzi is survived by his three sons; Stephen Lombardozzi, Jr., John Lombardozzi and his wife Lisa, Christopher Lombardozzi and his wife Tracy, grandchildren; Toni Interiano and her husband Jose, Stevie Lombardozzi and his wife Brooke, Lauren Boyle and her husband Brian, Daniel Lombardozzi and his wife Alysa, Katie Honeycutt and her husband Dylan, Justin Lombardozzi and his wife Nicole, Jason Lombardozzi and his wife Aline, Nicholas Lombardozzi and his wife Cassidy, Jenna Pyo and her husband Sam.
