Michael Angelo Lombardozzi, age 64, of Erie passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Erie on July 13, 1960, a son of the late William and Mary Torok Lombardozzi.
Mike was a 1979 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and went on to work as a welder at Carrara Steel for 30 years.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed watching sports, horse racing, hunting, playing softball, and bowling. He especially loved doing yard work. The absolute joy of his life was spending time with his four grandchildren. Mike was also a dedicated Cleveland Browns fan.
He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church where he served as an usher.
Mike is survived by his high school sweetheart, the love of his life and whom he would have celebrated 43 years of marriage in June, Paula Agens Lombardozzi; two children, Michael Lombardozzi (Natasha) and Krista Lombardozzi (Robby); four grandchildren, Rosalee, Roehman, Cecilia and Morgan; two sisters, Anna Sullivan (Sully) and Theresa Carroll (Tim) and a brother, Bill Lombardozzi. He is further survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. To know Mike, was to love Mike.
The family would like to thank the staff at VNA Hospice for all the care and support they gave to Michael and his loved ones.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church 1116 W. 7th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
