Gilberta E. Dennen

Gilberta E. Dennen "Gil", age 93, of Erie, passed away February 18, 2026 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Indiana, PA on August 29, 1932, daughter of the late Goldie Starry Ream and Lawrence Kocher.

Gil retired from Plastek after many, many years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Siebenbuerger Club and a longtime member of the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571. Gil enjoyed bingo and gardening and had a strong love for animals.

Gil is survived by four children, Aaron Kennelley, Roberta Mummey, Peggy Peace, and Richard "Dick" Hunt; 11 grandchildren, Michelle Lewis, Tammy Lewis, Sarah Payne, Jonda Tate, Nikki Kennelley, Jason Kennelley, Katie Kennelley, Aaron Kennelley, Jr., Andrew Kennelley, Angel Kennelley and Amy Peace; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gil was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dennen; three children, Catherine Kennelley, Donna Kennelley Slowikowski and Clyde "Dusty" Kennelley; three sisters, Evelyn Ball, Loretta Meucci and Pat Ward; three brothers, Louis Kocher, Lawrence Kocher and Robert Kocher; and two granddaughters, Deborah Payne and Shannon Kennelley.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday, February 25th, from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1 pm conducted by Rev.
