Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home on Dec. 11, 2025.
Mrs. Nancy A. (Smith) Lombardozzi, age 86, died on December 5, 2025, at her home in Virginia. She was the wife of Stephen A. Lombardozzi with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Malden and a graduate of Malden High School, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Rose G. (DelConte) Smith. She was the sister of Rose Schlegel and the late Edward Smith.
Mrs. Lombardozzi lived in
Danvers, MA,
Gainesville, FL, upstate New York. Upon retirement, Steve and Nancy moved to
Naples, FL. They later moved to
Ashburn, VA to be close to her family. She enjoyed tennis, reading, boating, mahjong, and hosting many dinner parties with close friends. As a dedicated homemaker, she loved spending time with family and friends. As a mother to 3 boys, she spent countless hours at baseball fields. Nancy and Steve had the opportunity to move many times, and she poured her heart into decorating their homes so that they were beautiful and welcoming to her friends and family. The thing that Nancy was most noted for, besides her love of family, was when you became her friend – you were a friend for life. Lastly, as the saying goes, "there is a special place in Heaven for the mother of 3 boys" and Nancy is most certainly there.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons; Stephen Lombardozzi Jr., John Lombardozzi and his wife Lisa, Christopher Lombardozzi and his wife Tracy, 9 grandchildren Toni Interiano and her husband Jose, Stevie Lombardozzi and his wife Brooke, Lauren Boyle and her husband Brian, Daniel Lombardozzi and his wife Alysa, Katie Honeycutt and her husband Dylan, Justin Lombardozzi and his wife Nicole, Jason Lombardozzi and his wife Aline, Nicholas Lombardozzi and his wife Cassidy and Jenna Pyo and her husband Sam, 18 great grandchildren; Chloe, Bodhi, Kai, Wesley, Madison, Alexis, Noah, Samantha, Averly, Ellison, Rosey, Lillian, Bella, Tobias, Luca, Oaklyn, Bria, Hadley and one more planned for January 2026.
