Stephen McCoy "Steve", a beloved and kind-hearted man, passed peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on April 19, 1957. He was known for his gentle demeanor and generous spirit.
A proud graduate of West Carrollton High School, class of 1989, Steve dedicated many years of his professional life to the role of supervisor at I-supply, where he was respected by colleagues and admired for his work ethic.
Steve passions were varied, with music and bowling being cherished hobbies. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and a remarkable electronic enthusiast, particularly skilled in rebuilding computers. These interests not only provided him joy but also allowed him to connect with family and friends, leaving an enduring impact on their lives.
He is survived by his children, Amber Edwards (Anthony Celaya) and Stephen McCoy Jr.; his grandchildren, Dakota, Allen, Christopher, Ruben, Gary, Nicholas, and Jasmyne; his great-grandson, Finn and two additional great-grandchildren; his siblings, Monte (Missy) McCoy and Rhonda Buck; step-mother, Linda McCoy; and many other nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and friends
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, John McCoy and Jo Ann Tincher; step-father, James Tincher; and his daughter, Stephanie Lara; wife, Ladecca McCoy; granddaughter, Sabrina McCoy; grandson, Joseph Sheperd; and uncle Ronnie Pelfrey.
Steve McCoy will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
