Stephen Morrell Obituary

Stephen "Steve" Gregory Morrell, born July 31, 1948, in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 77. Son of Francis Morrell and Janice Merrill.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Constance Morrell; his daughter Nicole Morrell Vanacore; sons Michael (Laura), and Jason (Jessica) Morrell; grandsons Alexander Vanacore, Andrew Vanacore, and Viggo Morrell; and granddaughter Daniella Morrell. He is also survived by his cherished siblings Judith Ann Deck, Kathy Barbara Wilson, Jon Michael Morrell, Jerry Morrell, Cyndy DeAngelis, and Cheri Morrell-Dean.

Steve began his professional career in Colorado as an engineer, where he applied his technical expertise with diligence and precision. He later transitioned into sales roles at Steel Inc. and Stonehard, demonstrating strong interpersonal and business acumen. In the latter part of his career, he worked as a limousine driver, an experience that inspired him to establish his own successful limousine service.

A lover of sunshine and the sea, Steve found peace and joy at the beach. He had a sharp mind and enjoyed puzzles like Sudoku and crosswords. A natural storyteller, he inherited this gift from his grandfather and delighted in sharing tales with friends and family. His love for music was ever-present, and he cherished time spent in the company of those he loved.

Steve will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and vibrant spirit. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Colorado Community Church in Aurora Co, on October 30th at 2:00 PM.
