Stephen Michael Nicholson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Stephen Michael Nicholson of Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, February 27, 2025. While his time with us feels far too short, the love, laughter, and memories he shared will live on forever.
Stephen was a deeply devoted husband to his wife, Danielle, and a loving father to Jonah and Madelyn Nicholson and stepfather to Patrick, Aidan, and Olivia Schaffner and Jasmine Riley. His family was his greatest joy, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with them.
He was also a cherished son to Robert and Margaret Nicholson, who instilled in him the kindness, integrity, and work ethic that helped define his life. He is greatly missed by his brothers, Robert and Daniel Nicholson.
For 18 years, Stephen was a dedicated manager at Publix, where he not only worked hard but also built lasting friendships with colleagues and customers alike. His warmth and humor made every interaction meaningful, and his leadership left an impact on many.
Stephen had a deep love for art. Whether it was painting his own pieces, visiting his favorite galleries, or listening to live music, Stephen enjoyed being immersed in creative energy.
He was a wonderful friend, and had many friendships that spanned over thirty years. He had a way of making people feel at ease, turning simple moments into cherished memories.
His presence was a gift, his laughter was contagious, and his love a legacy that will endure.
