Stephen Walter Nowaczewski (age 69) passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024 from complications of lung cancer. Stephen was employed by the city of Saint Paul for 32 years, 28 years as a firefighter. He was an Army veteran, fisherman, hunter, and a devoted West 7th Streeter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Greg Nowaczewski and brother in-law Ron Monn.
Survived by his wife of 44 years Susan (Chirpich) Nowaczewski; son Wade; and daughter in-law Dallas; brother Adrian (Jackie); sisters Greta (Greg) Munson, Pat (Steve) Morrison, Clara Monn, Valerie Nowaczewski, Jessica (Jim) Gustafson; Supportive in-laws; many nieces and nephews.
Great appreciation to MN Oncology through the years and the medical community of Saint Paul, MN.
A memorial gathering will be on Wednesday, May 7th at DeGidio’s Restaurant and Bar (425 7th St. West, Saint Paul, MN 55102) from 12PM - 4PM.
