I was a condo friend of Stephen and spent time with him reminiscing his family and time in the USMC. Stephen was a veteran of the Korean War and shared how ill prepared the 1st Marines were for the harsh winter of the Chosin Reservoir.
He also spoke often of the memories he had of rearing a large family, the businesses he ran, and retirement from Ford Motor Company. Stephen dealt with losing his wife at an early age to cancer and not being able to spend their Golden Years together.
