Stephen Payne Obituary

After his time in the military, Stephen went on to work within the Veterans Administration, in both Topeka and Fort Worth, in pharmacy administration. He instructed classes on gun safety in Topeka.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Margaret "Margi" Payne of Topeka, two sisters, Stephanie (Kenneth) Patterson, Bellvue, NE, and Charlotte (Barry) Reed, Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his father Harold "Hal" Payne.
Graveside service with U.S. Navy Honors will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Ozawkie Cemetery, Ozawkie. Barnett Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with Care.
