Stephen Bradford Persson passed away at his residence in Warner Robins on the morning of Friday, March 22, 2024. He was 33 years old. Born on September 20, 1990, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Stephen was the son of Eric and Nancy Persson.

After graduating from high school, Stephen pursued higher education at Valdosta State University, where he became a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity before graduating from Middle Georgia State in 2015. He went on to attend Georgia College and earned a master’s degree in supply chain management and logistics. He then began attending the Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue a master’s degree in data science.

Throughout his life, Stephen was a dedicated sports enthusiast. He and his wife, Whitney, shared a special bond with the Atlanta Braves, so much so that they chose the stadium as the venue and had their wedding before a game. He was also a lifelong, passionate supporter of the Green Bay Packers and, of course, his beloved Georgia Tech. Stephen had a tender affection for animals and treated his pets as his children. He had a profound appreciation for the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as kayaking and hiking. Stephen also had a deep love for punk rock and metal music and enjoyed attending concerts.

Stephen will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Whitney Nicole Stewart Persson; daughter, Presley Taylor; parents, Eric and Nancy Persson; grandmother, Betty Wade; dogs, “Sam and Chloe,” and cat, “Lambeau.”

At the family’s request, a celebration of life will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Stephen Bradford Persson to Jay’s Hope Foundation, 1157-B Forsyth St., Macon, Georgia 31201; or to All About Animals Rescue, Inc. P.O. Box 4331, Macon, Georgia 31208.
