Stephen Pomper, 60, of Lansdale, PA, died suddenly on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Olga Hryhorsky Pomper for 30 years.
Born December 31, 1963, in Meadowbrook, PA, he was a son of the late Ludwig J. Pomper and Theresa Russell Pomper. Steve was raised in
Richboro, PA, and attended Council Rock High School where he graduated in 1982. An exceptional athlete, Steve was a state championship gymnast, excelling in the rings-a testament to his strength, dedication, and drive.
Steve shared his life with Olga, his wife and best friend. Together, they built a beautiful family and created countless memories. He was the proud and loving father of his children, who were his greatest pride and joy.
Steve's life was defined by his love for family, adventure, and the simple pleasures of life. Whether at home or on vacation, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He found immense joy in traveling, skiing, and fishing, as well as time spent outside in the yard.
Steve's generosity extended beyond his immediate circle. He volunteered as a church shuttle driver for the elderly at St. Stan's, embodying his commitment to helping others.
Known for his infectious laugh and warm personality, Steve had the ability to light up every room he entered. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Austin Pomper of Lansdale, Kacey Campbell of Charleston, SC, and Ashley Brasch and her husband Matt of Lower Gwynedd. He is also survived by his two brothers John L. Pomper and his wife Beth of Doylestown, and Gregory Pomper of Hamilton, NJ; his sister Michelle Pomper of Dublin, PA; numerous nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446. His interment will follow in the parish Cemetery.
