Stephen Lee Quintero 42, passed from this life to be present with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, November 19, 2025. A devoted Christian who was named after Stephen in the Bible (Acts 7:54-60). Stephen was a beloved brother, uncle, and husband. He was born August 28, 1983 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the second of three children born to Francisco Quintero and Justina Yellowhair Toppah Quintero. He was an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe and proud Mexican. His paternal grandparents were Francisco Javier Quintero and Rosa A. Quintero. His maternal grandparents were Beverly John Yellowhair Toppah and Lucille (Ataddlety) Toppah. Stephen graduated Lawton high school. He was an automotive technician. He married the love of his life Lois (Thomason) Quintero on June 10, 2010. He enjoyed building cars with his brother Francisco (Poncho) Quintero and his father. He built up from scratch a black Chevrolet caprice and didn't mind driving his nieces around in his gangster car. He was a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed eating ribs and pineapple upside down cake. Growing up he lived together with his sister Elizabeth Quintero and brother in-law Roberto Hernandez Castillo. Roberto remembers waking up in the morning and making Stephen and his brother Poncho breakfast and it always had to have fried potatoes. When Roberto only made eggs, Stephen would say where are the potatoes. He also enjoyed playing disc golf and being around water. He especially loved his cat Jack (who grew up from early adulthood with Stephen). He was a devoted Christian and had a Bible at bedside. He will be greatly missed.
