Stephen Reses Obituary

Stephen Wayne Reses

Stephen Wayne Reses of Linwood passed away on July 7th. Stephen was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Atlantic City with sand in his shoes and boat in the ocean. He loved boating, photography, his dogs, and most of all his children and grandchildren. Stephen was a skilled pharmacist, and his business sense was uncanny and pragmatic, having built two success businesses in the broader southern New Jersey region. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Stephen is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen; children, Wayne Reses, Jacqueline Reses, and Jacob Reses; grandchildren, Emilia, Charlotte, and Owen Apfel; brothers, Samuel Reses and Paul (Dewis) Reses; and his dogs, Arabella and Lola; and many friends; and extended family. The family asks that contributions in his memory may be made to the Atlantic County SPCA, 324 Steelmanville Road, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey 08234, www.acspcavet.com or Shirat Hayam, 700 North Swarthmore Avenue, Ventnor, NJ, 08406, www.shirathayamnj.org. Condolences may be offered at www.JSGFunerals.com.

So very sorry for your loss. Stephen and I went to ACHS and graduated in 1960. I remember him as being a fine person with a nice way of saying hello and smiling as he did this.

To the Reese family we are sad to hear Steve has passed. When we moved to the Pinehurst section of Galloway in 1983 he was our Pharmacist. We left that area in 1993 and only saw him a few times after we moved. We truly like Steve, every time we would see him he always had something nice to say and was so funny we always enjoyed seeing him .Such a kind soul. May he rest in peace!

My Condolences to you Karen and your Family. He was a great person. His humor always stood out the most for me. I met him years ago at Chapman dealership. He loved his Lincoln´s. Buying a Lincoln or servicing it , he always brought his dogs and spent some time with me. He will be deeply missed.
