Stephen Craig Simpson

Stephen Craig Simpson, a resident of Diamondhead, MS passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024 at his home. He was 65 years old and was a retired mechanic from ExxonMobil with 40 years of service. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, from 10am until service at 1pm conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Willins and her partner, Wade Viola, brothers, Jeff Simpson and Lane Simpson. Nieces and nephews, DaLynn Prestridge and husband, Nick, Jeffrey Douglas Simpson and wife, Kimberly, Charles Simpson and Cullen Simpson and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Simpson, brother, Douglas Simpson, step father, Stuart Willians, grandparents, Charles and Jessie Smith and Jeff and Lucille Simpson and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Charles Simpson, Cullen Simpson, Nick Prestridge, Frank Mobley, Bob Kelly and James Kidd. Honorary pallbearers will be Piercen and Hudson Prestridge. Stephen was a car enthusiast, and a member of the New Orleans Corvair Enthusiast Club. He was also an avid LSU fan and New Orleans Saints fan.
