A native of Hopkinsville, KY she was born January 26, 1964 the daughter of Donnie Gerald Howell and Sandra Rose Boguskie Howell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Dr. James Howard Simpson, Jr; and her father: Donnie Gerald Howell; and her brother: John Michael Howell; and her sister: Lisa Dawn Howell.
Survivors include her mother: Sandra Howell of Hopkinsville, KY; and her son: Steven Combs of Radcliff, KY; and her daughter: Stefanie Combs (Jeffery Moore) of Madisonville, KY; and her sisters: Donna (Kerry) Lancaster of Bowling Green, KY, Katherine (Phillip) Nash of Greensboro, NC and Leslie Howell of Charleston, SC; and her grandchildren: McKinzie Combs of Hopkinsville, KY, Logan Combs and Layten Baker of Dawson Springs, KY; and her great grandchildren: Kinzlee Combs, Aurora Combs and Ivaree Combs.
