MR. STEPHEN TYRONE SMALL, age 51, of Pine Valley Apartments-101 Kings Mill Road-D7, Wrens, GA, passed away on Monday, May 19th, 2025, at his residence. Family and friends may call at the funeral home. FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, WRENS in charge.
MR. STEPHEN TYRONE SMALL, departed this life on Monday, May 19, 2025. He was born on Friday, November 2, 1973, in Manhattan, NY to the parentage of Doretha & Patrick Small.
"Big Steve" as he was affectionately called, spent most of his life in Wrens, GA where he made lasting friendships and built beautiful memories. Stephen was an avid poker, spades and tunk card player. He often hosted card games at his home and requested that like-minded friends come and join him for a good game. He loved life to the fullest and had an outspoken nature. Stephen was a friend and brother to many. He prioritized his relationships with loved ones and his devotion remained steadfast throughout his lifetime. This dedication was apparent in his caring interactions with those he cherished.
Our beloved Stephen Tyrone "Big Steve" Small was preceded in death by his mother, Doretha Walker Small, his father, Patrick Small and a brother, Glen Thorne.
Dear loved ones left to remember the best of times and cherish his memory: a loving sister, Marcia (Freddie) Taylor; a two loving and caring aunts, Emma Walker Glover and Lucille Walker; one uncle, Johnny (Della) Walker; four special friends, Tameka Blair Walker, David Berry, Damario Roberts and Antonio Gaines. The love he shared extended to his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, extended family and additional friends that he leaves behind.
