Stephen James Smith, age 70, of Deer Park, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. He was born on July 20th, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Norbert and Rita Smith. Grew up in Price Hill with his loving sister Marilyn (Mike) Neal, and cherished brothers Terry (Beth) Smith and Gary (Rosa) Smith.
Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife, Michelle; leaves behind his four daughters, Erin (Justin) Baughan, Rachael Hoyle, Becky (Mike) Corrado, Sarah (Kevin) Stratton; grandchildren, Jeremy, Lexi, Mckenzie, Michael, Ella, Abby, Ava, and Emma; many nieces and nephews and his dog Pepper.
Steve was known to his family, friends and community as "Smitty". Steve was a long-time resident of Deer Park, Ohio. He worked for the City of Deer Park for 30 years as the Service Department Foreman. Retired in 2011. He lived life through simple pleasures, chatting with his friends and family, cutting grass, watching the Reds and Bengals and being with his family. Steve will be deeply missed by everyone. May he rest in peace.
In lieu of a funeral service, the family will honor Steve's memory with a celebration of life on July 19th at 6pm at the Deer Park Community Center 7640 Plainfield Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45236.
