Stephen Sollars Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Aug. 30, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Sollars, 73, of Enfield, CT on Friday, August 22, 2025. Stephen was born on September 23, 1951 to Charles and Lillian (Zwicker) Sollars in Greenfield, OH and moved to CT when he was 16 years old. He attended New Britain High School, graduating in 1970. Stephen worked as a machinist in various places before retiring due to his health. He loved to build plastic models and talk about cars, loved to watch auto racing, smoke cigars while listening to the radio or going to cigar lounges and cigar stores. Stephen also loved to go to breakfast at various restaurants.

He is survived by his wife; Lynn (Walegora) Sollars, daughter; Krystle (Sollars) Sutter and her husband, Eric, and grandson; Jeffrey. Per Stephens wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services. To pay tribute, you can call his wife or daughter to make arrangements to stop by the house. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org. For online expressions of sympathy, please visit www.leetestevens.com

I miss my dad very much. He survived so much and made me laugh at times. Our rabbit, Q-Tip, passed 2 months before he did. I hope he is playing with him similar to how he did when they were still with us. As I said before you were taken from us, I love you, dad!

My husband and I were so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I remember getting together many years ago with he and Lynn. We had some good times. Lil and Randy Campany
