Stephen Allen Stano Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of our son and beloved brother and friend, Stephen Allen Stano, Jr. on November 7, 2024. He was born January 13, 1972 to Steve and Rita Stano, Sr. in Fairfield, Alabama.
Allen resided in Hueytown, Alabama and attended Pleasant Grove High School and Gilmore Bell. He loved being the center of attention. He held, with pride, the last name that followed his father (Stano). He loved doing anything that involved his family and friends. No matter what time, day or night, you could call him and he would jump right up at the chance to help a friend, sister or brother; or just a chance to simply ride to the beach. He took every opportunity to venture out! He loved the comfort and affection of being with his nieces, nephews and great nephews. Uncle Allen was unstoppable and had a heart of gold. He would try to fix anything he got his hands on. His love and friendship will be forever missed. He had awesome love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ whom he often spoke of while turning to, in his time of need. We can only imagine how glorious it was for him to walk through the Golden Gates of Heaven and see his loved ones there to greet him.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Allen Stano, Sr. He is survived by his mother and friend, Rita Stano; sister, Kimberly S. Weathers (John); brother, Christopher O. Stano (Haley); numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until the start of service. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Keith Ellis officiating.
