Trievel, Stephen Glynn It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Glynn "Tree" Trievel, who went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2025 at the age of 70.

Steve was a man who never met a stranger - a true friend to everyone he encountered. Whether it was offering a helping hand, sharing a kind word, or simply brightening a room with his presence, he left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His generosity of spirit and deep compassion were a reflection of his faith and love for God.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Kimberly Lynn Trievel, who was his partner, confidant, and greatest supporter. He was a proud father to his three children: Jacob M. Hamersly, Naomi D. Batz, and William J. Hamersly, and a deeply adored grandfather to his nine grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Alexis Catherine, Daniel Joseph, Elijah Treé, Makenzie Frances, Hunter Lee, Payton AnnaLynn and Stephanie Arlene who brought immense joy to his life.

Steve was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lela Chandley and Paul Emerson, who surely welcomed him into heaven with open arms.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for your prayers - that they may find comfort in God's presence and strength in His promise of everlasting peace.

Steve's life reminds us that kindness matters, that faith carries us through, and that one person truly can make the world a better place. He will be deeply missed, but we rejoice in knowing he is now at rest with the Lord.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." - John 14:1-2
