Stephen Wojcieszek Obituary
Stephen W. Wojcieszek, 60 of Itasca, IL., passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Stephen was the son of the late Walter and Lorraine (nee Wozniak), loving husband of Laura (nee Ciccia) of 33 years, dedicated father of Daniel, Nicholas and Marissa, caring brother of Christina (Terri McAndrew), Marilyn (Ray Ozgowicz) and Bill (Robin), uncle to Michael, Billy, Christopher, Alexa, Brooke, Anthony, Bella and Alexis, best brother in law to Michael (Lisa) Ciccia, Greg (Nancy) Ciccia, cousin and friend to many.Steve was a bold and fearless man who enjoyed a challenge. When it came to life, he never held back. Those who knew him, knew he loved to talk about history, sports and his youth. Steve enjoyed going on family vacations, coaching his kids in sports and dancing with his wife. But his favorite pastime was a day in his pool surrounded by family, friends, good music and laughter. Steve will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial service, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 3:00-8:00pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 Irving Park Road, Itasca, IL.
