Sterling William Bradshaw Sr of Crewe Virginia entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2025 at the Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Richmond VA. Born on August 4, 1950 he was the third child of Mary and Otto Bradshaw.
While attending Luther H Foster High School he had to leave and help his family, but he later received his GED with the help of his children.
He was a very hard working man as he was employed by Crewe Primary Schools, Amelia County Schools, Cosby High School, L&M Express and The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for over 20 years. He was a road manager for the gospel group The Visionaries and a dedicated softball coach.
Sterling was baptized at an early age and became a dedicated member of Eleven Oaks Church where he served diligently.
Sterling was a very dependable, outgoing. and outspoken person who you could call on for anything. He loved to break out in song and would always find the positive out of any negative issue. He love to watch westerns, going fishing, hunting and loved wildlife. Sterling especially loved his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents (Mary and Otto Bradshaw) and step son (Trevell Dickerson).
He leaves to cherish his precious memories five children: Lakeisha Vaughan-Jones of Georgia, Tiana Bradshaw of Amelia VA, Sterling Bradshaw Jr (Tiffany) of Ruther Glen VA, Chelsea Dickerson of Richmond VA, Darius Bradshaw of Henrico VA, eight siblings: Milton Carter of Crewe VA, Otto Bradshaw of Crewe VA, Ralph Bradshaw (Jacquelyn) of Maryland, Randolph Bradshaw of Crewe VA, Michael Bradshaw of Burkeville, VA, Linda West (Walter) of Amelia VA, Roscoe Anderson (Gladys) of Blackstone VA and Carolyn Anderson (Andre) of Powhatan VA, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
