Emroy Boose Obituary

Emroy Boose heard the trumpet sound and answered the call to take his eternal rest on Sunday, November 9, 2025. His soul now resides in Heaven. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and devotion that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.
Emroy's greatest joy was his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he cherished every moment spent around the dinner table, at family gatherings, and in quiet conversations. His loved ones will remember his gentle wisdom, steady encouragement, and the way he made each person feel truly valued.
He leaves to celebrate his life his daughters Tiffiney (Reginald) and Kimberly; his grandchildren, the twinkle in his eyes, Kamera, Myles, and Jordon; and four bonus grandchildren, Regina, Alexis, Janae, and Isaiah. He is also survived by his sisters Elnora and Sadie, his brother William Lee (Hazel), his devoted niece Regina (Tracy) Alexander, and nephews Waverly, Javont, Ronald, and Orlander.
In his career, Emroy was admired for his integrity and hard work. He was employed by Piedmont Geriatric Hospital, where he believed in doing things the right way and inspired those around him with his perseverance and generosity of spirit. His colleagues respected him not only for his accomplishments but for the kindness he showed every day.
Emroy believed in giving back. Whether lending a hand or helping a family in need, he made his community stronger through his presence. His neighbors and friends will remember him as someone they could always count on. His dedication to his church and church family sustained him during the bereavement of his beloved wife Dorothy, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage, and especially when his health began to fail.
Outside of work and service, Emroy found happiness in his hobbies. Everyone knew not to call while his "stories" were on or when wrestling came on Monday nights. He loved sharing stories, playfully trash-talking the Dallas Cowboys, cheering on his Washington Commanders, enjoying gospel music, and embracing the simple pleasures of life. Most of all, he loved the Lord and found joy in visiting churches to help spread the Good News.
Emroy leaves behind not only cherished memories but also a shining example of how to live with love, humility, and joy. His spirit will continue to guide his family, friends, and community, reminding them to embrace life fully and care deeply for one another.
