Born Sterling Hedley on the 4th of July 1955 to parents Sterling and Betty Hedley, who preceded him in death.
Deacon Sterling Hedley passed away at sixty-nine years of age, in Marietta, Georgia
He married Patricia Hedley in 1980, who presently teaches school in Cobb County Schools system. The Hedley union produced two beautiful children, daughter Jenay, who is (betrothed to Eduard Markaj) and son Jason.

Deacon Hedley was a successful Real Estate licensed Broker for the state of Georgia.
Presently, owner of “The Hedley Group" and an independent contractor with Berkshire Hathaway. Deacon Hedley sold many churches and commercial properties worth millions of dollars.

Ordained (2010) Deacon Hedley served for over 15 years as Lead Deacon with New Horizons In Faith Church International, Incorporated, 81 West Campbellton St, Fairburn, GA 30213
Deacon became a vessel for God to use him as Lead Sunday School Teacher, Helping the needy, Finance Manager, Praise Team Leader, Pastor’s Anniversary Coordinator and Pastor's Confidant.
Deacon enjoyed all sports. He was an avid music lover and musician. Deacon eagerly spent time with his family making trips to Costa Rica, Barbados and Aruba to name a few.
Deacon Hedley was passionate about the Lord and was committed to his calling. He had an infectious smile, and he walked in grace, strength, and authority.
Family
He is survived by wife, Patricia Hedley; two children, Jenay and Jason; Siblings Elliot and (Nickol) Hedley, Steven and (Carrol) Hedley, Beth and (Vernon) Reed. His in-laws Ray and Yvonne Capers, Sister and Brother Kim and Jeffery Gladden and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
