Tina Louise Atkinson Hedley of Barker, NY beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and
friend entered into rest on October 14, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1965 to Gail ( Jerry)
O'Connor of Chateaugay NY and late Hector Atkinson of Malone NY. She was sister to
William(Ruth) Atkinson Malone NY, Carol Shova Morrisonville NY, Nettie Lawrence Brushton
NY, Penny(Dale) Avery of Brushton NY, Vickie Wilcox of Brushton NY, step-brother Sean
(Kristie) O'connor Mooers NY, predeceased by sisters Crystal Atkinson, Cinda Atkinson, and
Dawn Titus. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone New York. She began work at the
William Mansion Nursing Home. She then went on to work as a cook at Pizza Hut. She found
her way back to health care at the ARC in Chateaugay, NY.
She married Scott Hedley of Olcott NY and relocated to Olcott. There she worked at
Village Park Health Care Center Gasport NY. In recent years she volunteered at the St.
Andrew's Community Store in Newfane NY. She was a member of Lockport Elk's 41. She loved
painting nails and volunteering at Camp Happiness. She was a member of St. Andrews
Episcopal Church.
She enjoyed outings in the community with friends. She also enjoyed visiting her family
in the Adirondacks. Tina had a heart of gold and touched the lives of many. She will be forever
remembered.
No prior visitation. A Memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in
Burt, NY on November 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrews
Episcopal Church, Camp Happiness through Lockport Elks 41, Barker Volunteer Fire
Department or a charity of ones choice. Arrangements entrusted to Rutland-Corwin Funeral
Home Inc.
