Steven Jay Aitchison was born June 28, 1959, in Vinton, Iowa. He was the oldest of five sons born to Gary and Kathryn Quinn Aitchison. After more than eight years of dealing with the effects of cancer and its treatment, he passed away July 18, at the Israel Hospice House in Ames, IA surrounded by his family.
