Steve was a high school friend I lost touch with when I moved to Virginia Beach. I tried to reach him via Facebook to say hello as I hadn't seen or spoke in 36 years. I was shocked and saddened to find two days from finding a contact number I received word of his passing. I've not a doubt he touched many people and was loved very much. So sorry I missed that conversation old friend. I'll see you on the other side. John Dozier

You’re a one of a kind person man… awesome sense of humor... I really look up to you in a lot of ways, looking back I wish I had told you that…you really had my back on more than a few occasions… thinking about you often…you will be missed. See you on the staircase brother!!

I am very saddened to learn of Steve's untimely death. Steve painted my house inside and out several times over the years, and was just a really top notch painter and a delight to work with. My sympathy goes out to his family. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
