Steve H. Datzman

Steve H. Datzman, 80, of Earl Park, died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Heart of Mary Hospital, Urbana Illinois. He was born April 5th, 1943 at Watseka, Illinois, to the late Robert Charles and Jennie Datzman.
He graduated from AJ Kent High School, Kentland, Indiana, in 1961 and he was inducted to the Army in September, 1966 and discharged in September, 1968.
On September 5th, 1964 he married Linda L. Hiestand, and she survives.
He was employed for UARCO Business Forms, for 35 years. He continued to work as a grounds keeper for Earl Park, Indiana for many, many years.
Steve was an avid fisherman his entire adult life. He loved fishing with his friends, especially in Lake Michigan or the Great Lakes, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving along with his wife are children, Shane A. Datzman (Arizona) and Nathan (Erin) Datzman, Oxford, Indiana, grandchildren Eric Steven Datzman and Sidney June Datzman, brother, Gene (Linda) Datzman of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by brother, Robert Datzman, Jr.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
