Mr. Steve Michael Eldridge, Sr., known to everyone as "T-Bone", age 70, of Kingston passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Steve was born in Cartersville, Georgia, August 28, 1954, to the late Harold M. Eldridge, Sr. and Mary Lou Blankenship Eldridge. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brantley Kole Eldridge; sister, Faye Roberson; brothers, Harold M. Eldridge, Jr., Roy Lee Eldridge and Roland Eldridge; and brother-in-law, Paul Barrett. Steve attended True Light Tabernacle and Kingston Full Gospel Church. He was a dedicated general contractor for many years, finding fulfillment in his work. He was known for his kindness and willingness to help others in need. Steve enjoyed fishing, a good home cooked meal and most importantly spending time with his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Steve will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Debra Lindsey Eldridge; children, Micheal Eldridge, Shirley Priest (James), and Miranda Waits (Jason); grandchildren, Andrew Eldridge (Jordan), Keegan Green (Autumn), Kyler Eldridge, Aaliyah Huskins, Karson Eldridge, Abby Priest (Joey), Shayla Priest, Jada Waits (Dylan), Tanner Waits (Caden), and Zane Waits; great-grandchildren, Jacelynn, Kaysen, Zayden, Riley, and Oliver; brother, Jim Eldridge (Sheryl); sisters, Linda Cagle (Danny), Barbara Eldridge, and Connie Barrett; sisters-in-law, Patty Eldridge, Joyce Silvers, Charlotte Hatfield (Doc), Laura Hardin (Freddy), Rita Medlin, and Nell Young (Tony); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Kelly Wilkey, Dennis Bailey and Samuel Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Dylan Chornobey and Joey Jordan will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Steve Micheal Eldridge, Sr.
