Steven “Steve” Chris Gibson, age 48, of Speedwell, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, on January 21, 1977, Steve devoted his life to being a funny and loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing in his spare time. Steve will surely be missed by all of those who loved and knew him.
Preceding him in death is his father, Dewey Wayne Gibson; special nephew, Corey Gibson; maternal grandparents, Charles Idol and Corene Rego; and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Elon Gibson.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah (Jay Welch) Gibson; two sons, Brandon (Skyler) Patterson and Steve Gibson, Jr.; two daughters, Sierra (Jackson) Collins and Chrissa (Nathan Ramsey) Gibson; two granddaughters, which were his pride and joys, Wrenleigh and Harper; and one brother, Jesse (Brandy Lee) Gibson.
