Steve MACK Glenn, age 81, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away in Farmington, New Mexico, on December 21, 2025.Steve was born on March 11, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army. He carried that same sense of duty into his community, working as a police officer and serving with the fire department. Self-employed throughout his working life, Steve was a lifelong entrepreneur with a strong work ethic and independent spirit. He owned and operated multiple car lots, auto salvage yards, and later a pawn shop. He took great pride in building his businesses through determination, perseverance, and long hours of hard work. For over 20 years, he worked alongside a trusted business partner at the pawn shop, a partnership built on mutual respect and dedication.

In his younger years, Steve had a deep passion for automobiles and drag racing, spending time racing Corvettes and hot rods purely for the enjoyment and camaraderie it brought. He also had a special love for his Corvette and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spent many years riding his Harley, embracing the independence and freedom of the open road. These adventures became some of his most cherished stories, often shared with a smile.

Steve was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Glenn; his parents, Brady Callahan and Nellie Belle McDougal; his brother, Eugene Callahan; and his younger brother, Charles Callahan. Mary was the greatest love of Steve’s life, and her passing marked a profound loss for him. Their marriage shaped who he was as a husband, a father, and a man. Her memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.

In the years following Mary’s passing, Steve found love again and shared over 20 meaningful years with Nedra Adams, his longtime companion. Their relationship grew from friendship into a deep and devoted partnership built on trust, loyalty, shared laughter, and unwavering support. Nedra became his steady strength, his rock, standing beside him through life’s later chapters and caring for him with compassion and devotion, especially in his final days. Together, they created a home filled with comfort, companionship, and mutual respect. Steve also grew to love and cherish Nedra’s family as his own, embracing her children Julie Mastic, Bill Adams, and Leah Ray, and the grandchildren who followed with pride and affection.

He is survived by his son, Steven Brady Glenn, whom he loved deeply and was immensely proud of, and his daughter-in-law, Rusty Glenn, with whom he shared a close, lighthearted relationship filled with humor, teasing, and countless shared laughs. Steve and his son shared a strong bond, and his love for Steven was constant and unwavering throughout his life. He was also a proud grandfather to Annice Hartsfield, along with many grandchildren who were deeply loved and too numerous to list.

Steve was also a loyal friend to many. He valued friendship deeply and was known for the way he welcomed people, shared stories, and made others feel at home. He especially cherished his Saturday crew at the pawn shop, a group of friends who gathered regularly, sharing conversation, laughter, and camaraderie that meant more to him than he ever let on.

Steve is also survived by his sister, Darlene Chapman, whom he loved deeply and cared for with a quiet devotion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including those from his late brothers’ families, as well as cousins who held a special place in his heart.

Steve will be remembered for his independence, love of cars and motorcycles, dedication to service, strong work ethic, quick wit, and above all his deep love for family and friendship.

The door was always open, and the stories were always worth staying for.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 3, 2026, at the Farmington Elks Lodge #1747 (801 N Municipal Dr Farmington NM 87401).

Pallbearers are Johnny Oakley, Dennis Beasley, Danny Smith, Mike Hopper, Robert Isbell, Terry Pearson, Randy Peck, and Nick Stevens.
