Steve Laurence Gonzales, born on July 24, 1965, passed away November 14, 2025. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife Susie, with whom he celebrated 40 remarkable years of marriage this past July. Proud father to his cherished daughters, Katie and Laura, Steve's greatest joy was watching them grow and flourish. He was not only their dad but their biggest supporter, always ready with comforting words, loving hugs, and sage advice.
Steve's professional journey began as a warehouse worker with Dahl Plumbing, where he demonstrated his remarkable work ethic and passion. Over the years, he worked his way up to management, where he was known for mentoring and uplifting his team. He believed in the potential of others and dedicated himself to helping them succeed in their careers, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him professionally.
Beyond his career, Steve found joy in life's simple pleasures. He always made sure family was around him during the holidays. His love for family encompassed cherished moments spent traveling, cooking, and fishing. The family cabin in Pecos, New Mexico, held a special place in his heart, serving as a sanctuary where he felt truly at peace. The beautiful memories created there will forever be treasured by his loved ones.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Gonzales, Grandfather Amadeo Sena, Grandmother Adelina (Nina) Sena, Grandfather Antonio Gonzales, Grandmother Aurora Gonzales, Brother in-law Robert Gonzales.
Steve is survived by his wife Susie; daughters Katie and Laura; grandson Avery; mother Beatrice Gonzales; sisters Sharon and Karen Gonzales; father-in-law Joe Ortega; mother-in-law Tessie Ortega; sisters-in-law Marie Ortega and Jeanette Valdez (Donny Valdez); sister-in-law Cindy Romero (Dion Romero); numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and godchildren.
