Steve Elliot Harden, 77, of Ogden passed away on May 1, 2024, in Ogden. He was born in Grand Coulee, Washington, on December 3, 1946, to Elliot Harden and Ella Jean Davis.
Steve married the love of his life, Lorraine Brown Eggleston, on May 25, 1990.
The Fat Cowboy enjoyed horses, dogs, refurbishing saddles, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Steve is survived by wife, Lorraine; four sons, Kenneth Stacey) Eggleston, Michael (Amber) Eggleston, Brad (Melisa) Eggleston; and Cory (Melissa) Eggleston; one daughter, Jean Chavez; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; his siblings, James (Sandy) Brown, Robert (Pat) Brown, Rick (Barbie) Brown, Leann (Murray) Clark, and Lori (Mike) Chacon; and many nieces and nephews that will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chris; his mother-in-law, Leola T Brown; and his father-in-law, James G Brown.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Harrisville Cabin, 725 West Harrisville Rd,
Flowers may be delivered to the cabin on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 3 to 5 p.m.
