Steve Philip Ingram, 80, passed away at home on January 8, 2025. Steve was born to Earl and Vera Ingram on November 9, 1944, in Star City, Arkansas. He was married to Ruth (Ward) for 57 years.
Steve worked as a commercial/Industrial Insulation Contractor and was co-owner of Master Insulation. Steve, along with his original co-owners Joe Ingram and Phil McShane, began Master Insulation in 1977. Then, alongside his son, Chad, Steve built what Master Insulation is today.
Steve had a strong passion for hunting and fishing until his health started to fail. Steve had a strong work ethic and was a wonderful provider for his family. Steve loved his family and adored each one of his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and was mischievous. He made a big impact on this world and will leave a large legacy behind. He will be greatly missed.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vera Ingram; son, Steven "Chad" Ingram; grandson, Steven "Peyton" Ingram; brothers, Norvajo, Wayne, Warren, and Eloy Ingram; loving brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Frances Thorpe; and brother in law, Donnie Ward.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth; daughter, Deanna Grubbs; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ingram; grandchildren, Darian (Ashlyn) Hooper, Caleb (Natalie) Hooper, Camden (Emily) Ingram, Savannah Ingram, and Bristol Ingram; and brothers, Dwight (Jean), Don (Imaleta), Chico (Betty Sue); and loving furbaby, Maizie. Steve is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and most of all numerous loyal employees and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Faith Chapel South. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Robb Brown, Michael Cole, Danny Hansen, Donnie Hollingshead, Darrin Wilkins, and Marcus Bianchetti.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Vitas Hospice for their help and care for Steve, particularly nurse Marty and aide Tina. They went above and beyond with the special care they gave during Steve's last days.
