Steve Matlock

Stephen "Steve" Edward Matlock, age 61, of McEwen, TN passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 3, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1964. Steve was a man of true character. A man who helped so many. Whose legacy will continue on. Steve's life revolved around his wife, family, and friends. Hunting and the outdoors has always been his passion. The world was better with him in it. He will be missed, he will never be forgotten. He will always be loved.
Left to cherish Steve's memory is his wife of 33 years, Angie Matlock of McEwen, TN; daughters, Alena Matlock (Matt Coleman) of Lavergne, TN, Michaela Crafton of Camden, TN and Morgan Mayberry (Jed) of Waverly, TN; son, Mason Matlock (Ryley) of McEwen, TN; grandchildren, Addalynn Mayberry, Hudson Mayberry, Tyler Mayberry, and Liam Matlock; sister, Delilah King; brother, Mike Matlock (Becky); and his beloved furbabies, Bocephus and Evie.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Mae Matlock and Lush Edward Matlock.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at Waverly Church of the Nazarene. (693 Airport Rd, Waverly, TN 37185).
