Con profundo amor y tristeza, despedimos a Steve Oropeza, quien nació el 14 de noviembre de 1996 en El Paso, Texas, y falleció el 15 de noviembre de 2025 en su ciudad natal, a la edad de 29 años.
Su partida deja un gran vacío en el corazón de sus padres, Miguel A. Oropeza y María Oropeza, de su hermano Edward Oropeza, y de su inseparable perrita pug Chikis, quienes lo amaron inmensamente y hoy lo recuerdan con un profundo cariño.
Steve fue una alma llena de luz, talento y alegría, siempre tenia una sonrisa en su rostro. Desde joven mostró una gran pasión por la música; tocar la batería era su escape, su forma de expresarse y de compartir su energía con el mundo. Donde había ritmo, ahí estaba él.
Era una persona extremadamente amistosa, social y carismática. Tenía esa cualidad especial de hacer sentir bien a todos, de sacar sonrisas, de hacer amigos en cualquier lugar. Steve tenía muchos talentos, pero el más grande era su corazón noble y cariñoso, especialmente con su familia, a quienes adoraba y siempre ponía en primer lugar.
Para quienes lo conocieron, Steve no fue solo un hijo, un hermano o un amigo: fue una presencia luminosa, un espíritu alegre que llenaba cada espacio con vida. Su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en las risas que compartió, en la música que amaba y en el amor que dejó en cada uno de sus seres queridos.

He had many talents, but his greatest one was his heart-warm, affectionate, and devoted, especially to his family whom he loved beyond measure.
To those who knew him, Steve was more than a son, a brother, or a friend; he was a light-someone whose laughter, energy, and kindness made the world a little brighter. His memory will forever live on in the music he loved, the smiles he inspired, and the love he left behind.
