I am still shaken by the the loss of my shipmate. I can still that smile after we crossed the burning sands. Gone but never will be forgotten.

I worked with Steve for 29 years, and like all of us who worked with him, knew him for his loyalty and dedication to work, and his kindness, consideration and generosity to others. His retirement left a big hole to fill here at the office. I am saddened to learn of his passing and extend my sincere condolences to the Pigee family. May you all soon find comfort in the loving memories of a life well lived.

Steve was the sweetest man. Always a smile and kind word. We worked together for 14 years. We were both from Chicago and Cubs fans so we had great time talking about these things. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

At work Steve was the go- to person, when you didn't know who to talk to about your situation, no matter what it was. Kind and sincere. Condolences to the family.
