It is with heavy hearts we announce that Steve Charles Seibert, 63, Minot, formerly of Baltimore MD, passed away peacefully August 9, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family in his home after fighting a courageous 18 month battle with colon cancer. Steve was born October 20, 1961 in Ventura, CA to Rosemarie Wilburn and Bernard Seibert. He was raised from a very young age in Baltimore, MD where he graduated from Patterson High School in 1980. He then entered the USAF and went to basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. He was stationed at Minot AFB in 1981 where he met and married the love of his life, Pamela Braaten. Together they had four wonderful children. Steve loved being a dad and had a special relationship with each one of them. Steve held various jobs including carpentry, sales & security. He also proudly worked as a stagehand at the Baltimore symphony & several concerts where he was able to meet a lot of celebrities including his favorite, Bob Dylan. He built movie sets as well, working on films such as Tin Men, which gave him the opportunity to meet actors Danny Devito & Richard Dreyfuss. Steve attended MSU and graduated in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and addiction studies. Steve then worked at the Burdick Job Corp Center and most recently the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch until retiring in 2024 due to health reasons. Steve was known for his wonderful sense of humor; he loved making people laugh & pulling silly pranks. He was such a giving, loving person. He was always thinking of others happiness & taught his children to be kind to others and that family was to be cherished. Steve loved to travel and was blessed to take many wonderful trips with his wife Pam. His favorite vacations were the New England States and Hawaii. Steve liked to go to thrift stores and garage sales, collect sports cards, listen to music and watch his Baltimore Ravens football. He loved spending time with his family especially on the holidays. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He loved his morning cup of coffee and blueberry muffin. He also appreciated his quiet time in the evening watching tv with Pam. He was fascinated with the paranormal and loved ghost & other SCI-FI shows. Steve's loving family includes his wife, Pamela. His daughters: Brianna Seibert (Allen), Brittany Stockie (Ryan), his sons: Brice Seibert (Madeline) and Brian Seibert (Sydney). Grandchildren: Noah Seibert, Anahri Stockie, Ella and Griggs; several sister and brothers-in-law, numerous nieces & nephews, his aunt Barbra Dujardin & cousins Linda Bryant (Fran) & Terry Joicy (Joe) of Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins & mother and father-in-law. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Celebration of the Life of Steve Seibert: Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Methodist Church, Minot.
